In December 2024, the 2024 Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference was held in Guangzhou. The conference, themed “Digital-Physical Integration, Brand Going Global,” explored new situations, opportunities, and challenges in cross-border e-commerce, as well as how to promote the deep integration and development of Chinese brands in the global market. The conference, in response to the rapidly changing global trade situation, focused on how to achieve the transformation from “Made in China” to “Brand of China.” It concentrated on the strategic positioning direction of cross-border e-commerce brands going global, deeply explored methods and paths for global layout, and collectively promoted the going global of cross-border e-commerce brands.
Wu Dong, Chairman of SOHO Textile Group (Uwill’s major shareholder), was invited to attend the conference and presided over the sub-forum “Innovative Construction of Friendly Ecosystem Service Providers.” Participating enterprises exchanged and discussed issues such as credit insurance support policies, financial industry financing efforts, optimizing cross-border trade settlement, and promoting high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce.

During the conference, the China Service Trade Association held its election and the first meeting of the third board of directors. Wu Dong, Chairman of SOHO Textile Group, was elected as the third executive director and supervisor of the association.
